An Amazing Dive Experience
A world of amazing marine life awaits you in the waters around Dos Palmas.  The resort is located on the island of Arreceffi, one of the many islands and sandbars nestled in the tropical waters of Honda Bay.  These islands are surrounded by mangrove forests, sea grass beds and coral gardens, all of which nurture a diversity of aquatic life.  Situated close to Puerto Princesa City, Honda Bay’s beautiful coral reefs are well protected by the local Baywatch authorities.

These precious habitats are home to more than 300 species of reef fishes, corals, mollusks, and crustaceans.  They serve as feeding grounds of endangered sea cows or dugong, and as nesting places for hawksbill, Olive Ridley and green sea turtles.  Around September, several sea turtle hatchings have been observed on the island of Dos Palmas.
Dos Palmas PADI Dive Resort
Dos Palmas is a PADI Dive Resort that offers divers and non-divers alike a chance to experience this rich marine ecosystem.  Explore dive sites easily accessible from the resort and discover some of the best coral reefs found anywhere.  Numerous beautiful and diverse dive sites have been identified, while other interesting sites continue to be discovered.

All dives are supervised by PADI dive professionals.  Their strict adherence to PADI regulations and requirements assure guests of professional and safe diving, dive trip supervision, assistance and training.

So many islands, so little time… With the many islets in Honda Bay waiting to be explored, an island-hopping trip is definitely a must-do.  Each of the islands offers distinct attractions:
- Bat Island, where thousands of bats leave their roost at sundown to search for food on the mainland
- Pandan Island, a well-known dive site and picnic area
- Lu-Li Island, a diminutive sandbar named for its tendency to disappear (lubog) and resurface (litaw) with the tides
- Snake Island, distinctive for its 4-kilometer sandbar that curves out to sea, and the mangrove forests that cover the rest of the island
- Puting Buhangin, literally white sand, the island is a popular picnic spot for guests of Dos Palmas
- Cowrie Island, a picturesque island with towering coconut palms and sheltering talisay trees
- Starfish Island, a sandbar famed for the starfish that can be found around its shallow waters
- Senorita Island, where visitors can get a glimpse of seaweed farming and fish cage culture.
